WINNER 2019 Jordan Mihailovski

WINNER
Jordan Mihailovski
Jordan (23 years old) studied at the Mathematics High School and then at the American College of Sofia. He trains tennis and attends acting school. At the age of 18 he was accepted to Central Film School in London, where he studied cinematography and editing for 2 years. He shot and directed his first graduation film. He stayed in the British capital and worked freelance in his field. At 22 he returned to Bulgaria and enrolled in directing at the NBU. Now he is editing his diploma film, which he is financing with his own money raised from his work in London as a cameraman and editor at corporate events.

FINALIST
Stefani Raycheva
Stefani (26 years old) graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Nottingham in 2014, but as film is her passion, she decided to return to Bulgaria and enrolled in two MA degrees in Film Directing and Playwriting at NBU. She studied in the class of prof. She also studied in the classes of Stefan Komandarev, Tsvetana Maneva and Snezhina Petrova. She has participated in over 50 film productions and commercials in various positions. She has directed two short films "Butterflies" and "My Truth" - winners of several awards and many nominations.

FINALIST
Nadya Todorova
Nadya (25) is a writer and director. She grew up in Bulgaria, but lived for several years in Germany, Sweden and the Czech Republic. She graduated screenwriting at FAMU International in Prague. In 2017 she was selected for the From Page to Stage workshop in Varna with mentor Dimitar Kotsev- Shosho. The same year she won the first prize of the Bulgarian Cinema Society for her script "The Sky Behind the Hill". In 2018 she was selected for Talents Sarajevo and Script Pitch Competition at interfilm Berlin. She has directed two short films - "Cheese" and "Slamming Doors".
