WINNER
Vanya Boycheva
Vanya /30/ graduated in Journalism at Sofia University, and in Directing at New Bulgarian University. In the last 10 years she has been working mainly in BNT - as a reporter, scriptwriter and editor in the morning shows dedicated to sports, health and lifestyle. Her diploma film in directing "The Radio Technician" , created in the framework of the festival in Dolna Malina and UFO Film and Television studios, has been selected at numerous Bulgarian and international festivals. The project for her first professional film is called "Natasha's Dream" and tells the story of a girl who lives in an orphanage. The film is expected to be completed in 2021.

FINALIST
Evgenia Taneva
Evgenia /23/ graduated from the Mathematics High School in Plovdiv. Back then she and a classmate wrote a fantasy novel in two parts - "The Hand of Fate" and "The End is Eternal", which won a competition and was published by the publishing house "Hermes". She studied acting for two years, then decided that directing was her calling and applied to NATFA. She is currently a 3rd year student with a degree in Film and Television Directing. Her first short film "Mama" already had an active festival life and won awards. Her new original film is the documentary "Stigma"

FINALIST
Peter Chiviyski
Peter /26/ is a student of the new study program of NATFA in the class of prof. Svetoslav Ovcharov in Film and Television Directing. Peter shows a flair for choosing original ideas and always gets to know each plot in detail, standing out for his willingness to experiment. He loves teamwork and always consults with his team in the pre-production stage. In the course of his studies at NATFA, the young director has shot feature, documentary and television projects of varying lengths, diversity in locations, eras, remakes or from an original script. In September 2019, he will participate in the pitching session of the International Short Film Festival "In The Palace", in which he is already part of the selection with another feature project. Peter presented his project "Gypsy Wedding" and won second place.
